Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    January 2024

Walk review from Dale, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track Tasmania

From the pickup in Launceston and the drop off back, we were taken care of every step of the way.

So many breathtaking highlights along the track: cool, green rainforest, Eucalypt, myrtle and pine forests, lofty alpine Japanese garden; waterfalls, creeks, rivers, lakes; wombats, echidna, wallaby - we saw it all on the Overland track. The reward at end of every day was seeing our private hut as we emerged from the bush - hot showers, a gourmet dinner and a glass of wine were waiting for us. The daily walks were just the right balance of challenge and rest. Well done and thankyou to our super guides Grant and Felix.
