Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    October 2023

Walk review from Sue Wigley, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track Tasmania

Amazing experience. This was a tough walk, with rain, snow and hail. The track is real ankle braking stuff for the most part. There are board walks and steps but this trip is not for the faint hearted as we discovered. Fortunately each day ended with an amazing meal, hot shower and good wine. Our guides, Brandon, Shawn and Aaron were fantastic chefs, very knowledgeable of the history and botanical surrounds and did an amazing job cajoling those of us at the tail end of the group.
