Bay of Fires / East Coast    March 2022

Walk review from Helen Dunacn, Bay of Fires / East Coast Tasmania

We had a wonderful time on this walk.

It was the first time I had done any trekking like this so was nervous at first about carrying a pack and walking all day. But it was all great. The guides Brandon and Daniel were amazing and they were able to ensure that our trip was interesting and enjoyable. We were lucky to have perfect weather and we even went swimming twice - which for Queenslanders is saying something as the water temperature is not we are used to. The stay at the Bay of Fires Lodge was very special and we feel privileged to have experienced all that it has to offer. We have booked on some further walks so now really looking forward to those.
