Cradle Mountain / Overland Track    November 2019

Walk review from Meagen Auston, Cradle Mountain / Overland Track

My daughter and I went on the Cradle Mountain Huts Walk (adventure) from the 9th November to the 13th November 2019. What an amazing adventure from the very snowy conditions on Day one and two when I questioned if I could make it to the exhiliration of climbing Pelion West. The guides James Jess and Oskar went above and beyond to make our hike very memorable with very informative talks about the Overland Track its history lots of information on the native plants and animals we found along the way. The huts were cosy and comfortable not forgetting the wonderful meals prepared daily by our guides. What a great group of people ranging from 23 to 70years and coming from England Belgium and All over Australia Big Thankyou to James who made me believe I could do it and always gave encouragement when the going was tough. Lastly thanks to all on the trip it truly was something I will remember forever 😊👍
